Children's Tumor Foundation

Across the country, the Children’s Tumor Foundation provides support to NF patients and famiLies, raising NF awareness and funds for research.

Neurofibromatosis, or NF, is a genetic disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 people. It causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, and can lead to deafness, blindness, disfigurement, bone abnormalities, learning disabilities, disabling pain, and cancer. NF occurs in all populations equally, and there is not yet a cure.

Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders is a nonprofit organization that strives to provide engineering resources to developing countries.  The Greater Cincinnati Professionals Chapter collaborates with the Buseesa community in Uganda to implement protected water resources to allow for year-round access to water.  Buseesa is located in a remote area of Uganda and is primarily populated by substances farmers that earn an average daily income of $1.25.  Three shallow wells and one protected spring have been implemented to date with several additional projects planned for 2018.  The chapter also supports a water distribution project in Kabingo, Uganda and local projects in Cincinnati with Happen Inc.

Pancreatic Cancer Research

Pancreatic Cancer Research is near and dear to our hearts here at EBS. Don Swett who was one of the initial investors, a Step-Father, and Step- Grandfather of multiple employees at EBS, lost his battle to Pancreatic Cancer November 18th, 2014. In honor of him, EBS will be doing its part in advancing the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.

Empower Youth

Empower Youth works to give youth a future regardless of their socioeconomic circumstances. We fight food insecurity with hot meals and weekend food bags. We provide leadership and creative experiences through summer camp and college visits. They work with students to earn their way to camp and learn skills that equip them to lead. With one of Elite’s employees on the board and as a financial partner our company stands behind the Empower Youth mission.

TriMedx Foundation

TriMedx Foundation was created in 2004 to address the international need for medical equipment repair and support. Working in partnership with faith-based medical mission organizations, TriMedx Foundation provides support services to help maintain the necessary equipment desperately needed for medical care. Operating through generous donations from equipment vendors, healthcare providers, talented technical staff, and others in the community, the Foundation makes a global impact in the health and hope of others.
